[Evaluations of the morphology and position of condyle and fossa of adolescent temporomandibular joint with Class Ⅱsubdivision malocclusions].

Purpose: To evaluate the morphology and position of condyle and fossa and joint space of adolescent temporomandibular joint with Class Ⅱ subdivision malocclusion, in order to provide a reference for diagnosis before treatment.

Methods: The study sample consisted of 30 adolescent patients with Class Ⅱ subdivision malocclusions(9 males, 21 females, mean age 12.5 years) as the experimental group and 30 adolescent patients with Class Ⅰ malocclusions (11 males, 19 females, mean age 12 years) as the control group treated from June 2018 to December 2019 in Suzhou Stomatological Hospital.

Objective: This experiment investigated meat color, myoglobin content, enzyme activities, and expression of genes associated with oxidative potential of pigs slaughtered at different growth stages.

Methods: Sixty 4-week-old Duroc×Landrace×Yorkshire pigs were assigned to 6 replicate groups, each containing 10 pigs. One pig from each group was sacrificed at day 35, 63, 98, and 161 to isolate longissimus dorsi and triceps muscles.

Obestatin, a novel 23 amino acid amidated peptide encoded by the same gene with ghrelin, was initially reported to reduce food intake, body weight gain, gastric emptying and suppress intestinal motility through an interaction with the orphan receptor GPR39. [Effects of simulated microgravity on preimplantation embryonic development of Kunming mouse in vitro].

In order to investigate the development of Kunming mouse preimplantation embryos cultured in vitro under simulated microgravtiy, one-cell and 4-cell embryos of Kunming mouse (Fertilization In Situ) were cultured in CZB or KSOM media under simulated microgravity or normal gravity environment respectively. The results showed that under normal gravity, the percentage of passing 2-cell development block embryos was not different in CZB with in KSOM, but the percentage of blastocysts was lower in CZB than that in KSOM significantly. The percentages of passing 2-cell development block embryos and blastocysts in CZB or KSOM were lower under simulated microgravity than those under normal gravity.

[Selection of scaffolds of rat hepatocytes in three-dimension culture under simulated microgravity].

In order to investigate the biocompatibility, degradation and inflammatory reactions of poly benzyl glutamate (PBLG), poly lactic-co-glycolic acid (PLGA) and fibrin gel used as the scaffolds co-cultured with the hepatocytes of rats under simulated microgravity conditions in rotating wall vessel bioreactor (RWVB). PLGA is low biocompatibility, PBLG is medium biocompatibility with rat hepatocytes. Fibrin gel is high biocompatibility, no toxic degradation and no inflammatory reactions.
