A press-actuated slidable microfluidic colorimetric biosensor was designed for rapid, sensitive and multi-channel detection of Salmonella. The nickel mesh sheet (NMS) modified with capture antibodies was employed for capturing target bacteria, and metal organic frameworks decorated with palladium (Pd) and platinum (Pt) nanoparticles (MIL-88@Pd/Pt NPs) modified with detection antibodies were used for amplifying colorimetric signals. The capture efficiency of the immune NMS reached 83 %, and the detection limit of this colorimetric biosensor was 35 CFU/mL in 20 min.

Chemically irreversible fouling (CIF) and erosion caused by chemical cleaning would result in the changes of desalination performance and membrane properties of the ion-exchange membranes (IEMs), which were defined as membrane ageing. Roles of CIF and chemical erosion in the ageing process and the interaction mechanisms have been systematically investigated during the electrodialysis treatment of flue gas desulfurization wastewater. We propose a supervised learning bioinformatics tool, Biological gRoup guIded muLtivariate muLtiple lIneAr regression with peNalizaTion (Brilliant), designed for feature selection and outcome prediction in genomic data with multi-phenotypic responses. Brilliant specifically incorporates genome and/or phenotype grouping structures, as well as phenotype correlation structures, in feature selection, effect estimation, and outcome prediction under a penalized multi-response linear regression model. While lithium borohydride is one of the most promising hydrogen storage materials due to its ultrahigh hydrogen storage density, high thermodynamic stability, kinetic barriers, and poor reversibility, it is far from being used in practical applications. Herein, we prepare a cubic hollow carbon dodecahedron uniformly modified with a bimetallic CoNi alloy (CoNi/NC) for preserving the stable catalytic effect of CoNi alloys toward reversible hydrogen storage. It is theoretically confirmed that bimetallic CoNi alloys effectively weaken the B-H bonds of LiBH by extending their average length to 1.
