In general, edge computing networks are based on a distributed computing environment and hence, present some difficulties to obtain an appropriate load balancing, especially under dynamic workload and limited resources. The conventional approaches of Load balancing like Round-Robin and Threshold-based load balancing fails in scalability and flexibility issues when applied to highly variable edge environments. To solve the problem of how to achieve steady-state load balance and provide dynamic adaption to edge networks, this paper proposes a new framework that using PCA and MDP.

The role of autophagy dysregulation in low and high-grade nonmuscle invasive bladder cancer: A survival analysis and clinicopathological association.

Introduction: Bladder cancer disproportionately affects men and often presents as nonmuscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). Despite initial treatments, the recurrence and progression of NMIBC are linked to autophagy. This study investigates the expression of autophagy genes (mTOR, ULK1, Beclin1, and LC3) in low and high-grade NMIBC, providing insights into potential prognostic markers and therapeutic targets.

Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic on Routine Immunization Among Tribal Children in Odisha: A Rapid Epidemiological Survey.

Objective: To assess the impact of COVID-19 on immunization coverage and delayed vaccination among tribal children in the Khordha district of Odisha state.

Methods: A cross-sectional rapid epidemiological survey was conducted using a standard WHO (30 × 7) cluster survey with 30 tribal villages under the Community Health Centre (CHC), Mendhasala, Odisha, as clusters and seven children from each cluster. A total of 14 children from each cluster; seven each born in 2019 (2019 cohort) and 2020 (2020 cohort), amounting to 420 children were included.

Effectiveness of Entrustable Professional Activity-Based Clinical Psychiatry Training for Indian Medical Interns: A Preliminary Study.

ObjectiveEntrustable Professional Activities (EPA) are discretely measurable specific professional tasks that integrate multiple competencies to define and provide varying levels of faculty support per trainee needs. We developed an EPA-based psychiatry curriculum for medical interns. Fifty-four interns completed the OSCE stations, Multiple Choice Questions, and Attitude questionnaires to assess EPAs, knowledge and attitudes towards the relevance and utility of clinical psychiatry in general practice.

The relationship between BCG immunotherapy and oxidative stress parameters in patients with nonmuscle invasive bladder cancer.

Introduction: Environmental chemicals have been associated with the regulation of oxidative stress markers, which have the potential for the development of bladder cancer. However, limited studies on the function of oxidative stress parameters and nonmuscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) in therapy response are available. Here we studied the oxidative stress parameters in response to BCG immunotherapy in NMIBC patients.

A study on knowledge, attitude, and practice about eye donation among medical students and healthcare professionals at a tertiary hospital in Eastern India.

Purpose: To assess and analyze the rate of knowledge, attitude, and practice patterns about eye donation among medical and healthcare professionals in a tertiary care hospital in eastern India.

Methods: This was a cross-sectional, descriptive study conducted on medical students, resident doctors, and nursing and paramedical staff at a tertiary institute in the year 2020. A pretested, structured questionnaire consisting of 28 questions in the three subsections based on knowledge and awareness, attitudes and beliefs, and practice patterns mainly willingness to donate eyes by pledging, was noted.

Anxiety is one of the most common mental disorders in the adolescent age group due to both physiological and psychological changes along with substance use in this age group. Generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and social phobia (or social anxiety disorder) constitute anxiety disorders as per the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders Fifth Edition (DSM-5) criteria. In India, the National Mental Health Survey was conducted to estimate the burden of different mental health disorders, but the adolescent age group was not included in that survey.
