Article Synopsis
  • Graft fixation is crucial for successful skin grafts, and fibrin glue might be a perfect solution because it sticks quickly and is derived from human sources.
  • The study assessed the effectiveness of fibrin glue in skin grafts by examining surgical time, complications like hematoma/seroma, engraftment rates, and wound closure by day 14.
  • Results showed that using fibrin glue led to better graft adhesion and reduced surgical time, proving it to be safe and as effective as traditional methods without serious side effects.*
