Objectives: Cystic neoplasms of the pancreas form a rare heterogeneous group of pancreatic tumors with variable clinical and diagnostic characteristics. Its incidence has increased in recent years due to improvements in cross-sectional imaging methods and awareness amongst surgeons.
Material And Methods: This study aimed to study the demographic, clinical, imaging, and histopathologic characteristics, incidence of malignancy and outcome of surgical resection of pancreatic cystic neoplasms.

The present manuscript reports two extremely rare cases of coexisting emphysematous gastritis with gastric mucormycosis. The cases were managed successfully, considering the high mortality associated with both conditions independently. The aim of the manuscript is to elucidate the importance of prompt diagnosis, early surgical intervention for source control and concomitant application of antifungal therapy for a favourable outcome.

Presentation Of Case: A 42-year old man presented with sub-acute intestinal obstruction.
Colonic volvulus is a relatively uncommon cause of large bowel obstruction, accounting for 10% of colonic obstructions. Volvulus of the transverse colon is quite rare, accounting for only 4-11% of all reported cases. We report an unusual case of documented volvulus of the transverse colon in a pregnant woman with intestinal malrotation and concomitant acute intestinal obstruction by congenital bands and adhesions.
