A Meckel's diverticulum is a true congenital diverticulum arising from the ileum, approximately 2 feet from the ileocaecal junction. Named after Johann Meckel, who first described its embryological origins, the anomaly remains asymptomatic for most. Uncommonly, it is found to be the cause of serious complications such as interstitial obstruction and/or gangrene, bowel perforation, and, in rare cases, internal bowel herniations.

Objectives The study aims to scale patients with diabetic foot ulcers according to Wagner's classification, measure the various risk factors, study various outcomes and improve the treatment measures. Methodology The article presents materials on a prospective observational study of 50 diabetic foot patients with different presentations who underwent stage-specific intervention. Results Poor glycemic control, lifestyle factors, and smoking showed increased risks for foot ulcer complications.
