Dual-wavelength digital holography effectively expands the measurement range of digital holography, but it increases the complexity of optical system due to non-common-path of two wavelengths. Here, by using orthogonal polarization strategy, we present a dual-wavelength digital holography based on a Wollaston prism (DWDH-WP) to separate the reference beams of two wavelengths and realize the common-path of two wavelengths. A Wollaston prism is inset into the reference beam path of the off-axis digital holography system, so two orthogonal-polarized reference beams of two different wavelengths separated at different directions are generated.

Two superaromatic terpyridine ligands (1 and 2) incorporating a corannulene unit at the 4'-position are reported. The optical and metal sensing properties of both ligands were investigated by the naked eye, and UV-vis and fluorescence spectroscopy in this work. In 1, the corannulene motif is directly connected to the 4'-phenylterpyridine domain, while in 2, the corannulene motif and the 4'-phenylterpyridine domain are separated by an acetylene linker.

In the title compound, C(18)H(19)NO(2), the five-membered ring of the indane fragment adopts an envelope conformation with the unsubstituted carbon atom at the flap displaced by 0.412 (3) Å from the plane formed by the other four atoms. The nitro group forms a dihedral angle of 5.

In the title compound, [Cu(C(3)H(5)N)(3)(C(12)H(18)N(6))](ClO(4))(2)·2H(2)O, the Cu(II) atom lies on a threefold rotation axis and is coordinated in a distorted N(6) octa-hedral environment by three tertiary amines from the tridentate chelating aza-macrocyclic ligand and three propionitrile mol-ecules. Inter-molecular non-classical C-H⋯N hydrogen bonding inter-links the [Cu(C(3)H(5)N)(3)(C(12)H(18)N(6))](2+) cations into a two-dimensional supra-molecular sheet extending along the ab plane. The crystal packing also exhibits weak C-H⋯O inter-actions.
