Introduction: Reconstruction of the scapho-lunate (SL) ligament is still challenging. Many different techniques, such as capsulodesis, tendon graft and bone-ligament-bone graft have been described to stabilize reducible SL dissociation. If primary ligament repair alone is not possible, an additional stabilizer is needed to achieve scapho-lunate stability.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFBesides carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel syndrome, other nerve compression or constriction syndromes exist at the upper extremity. Using the technique of endoscopically assisted decompression such rare nerve compression syndromes of the upper extremity can be treated. The technique of endoscopical decompression is presented in six patients with rare compression or hour-glass-like constriction syndromes at the upper extremity.

Materials And Methods: Between January 2011 and March 2012, six patients were endoscopically operated for rare compression or hour-glass-like constriction syndrome.
Background: Bennett fractures are unstable, and, with inadequate treatment, lead to osteoarthritis, weakness and loss of function of the first carpometacarpal joint. This study focuses on long-term functional and radiological outcomes after open reduction and internal fixation.
Methods: Between June 1997 and December 2005, 24 patients with Bennett fractures were treated with open reduction and internal fixation with screws at our center.
