Objective: To determine the influence of radiographic examination on the recommendations made at the time of planned re-evaluation of dogs after medial patellar luxation (MPL) surgery.
Study Design: Retrospective multi-institutional case series.
Animals: Client-owned dogs (N = 825) that underwent MPL surgery.
Objective: To describe a novel, video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) approach used to treat pectus excavatum (PE) in a dog.
Animals: A 5 month-old, 5.1 kg, intact, female, Cockapoo.
Case Summary: A 7-year-old female neutered domestic shorthair cat was presented with weight loss, abdominal distension, lethargy, pyrexia and hyporexia. Haematology and biochemistry were unremarkable. Abdominal ultrasound revealed a cystic mass within the left cranial abdominal quadrant, adjacent to the pancreas, stomach and spleen.
