Microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi, have been found to play critical roles in tumor microenvironments. Due to their low biomass and other obstacles, the presence of intratumor microbes has been challenging to definitively establish. However, advances in biotechnology have enabled researchers to reveal the association between intratumor microbiota and cancer.

Despite their apparent utility, the synthetic methods of these compounds remain limited. Herein, a novel strategy for the efficient synthesis of α-chloroboronic esters is developed via photoredox-catalyzed chloro-alkoxycarbonylation of vinyl boronic esters.

While intra-amniotic infection is a well-established driver of pPROM, the role of sterile intra-amniotic inflammation remains unclear. Recent evidence suggests that interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β) promotes extracellular matrix (ECM) remodeling via downstream effectors, a disintegrin-like and metalloproteinase domain with thrombospondin type 1 motif 9 (ADAMTS9), while protein O-fucosyltransferase 2 (POFUT2) facilitates its O-fucosylation and secretion, amplifying ECM degradation.

Hospital-associated infections (HAIs) pose significant risks in clinical settings, and sterile supply centers management plays a crucial role in infection control. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the impact of supply center management on the incidence of HAIs and adverse events. The systematic review encompassed studies that compared supply center management protocols with standard care.

Materials And Methods: Fifty-five male patients underwent RP and were categorized based on whether NNHT was administered preoperatively. Clinical baseline characteristics, perioperative outcomes, and biochemical recurrence (BCR) rate were summarized using mean, standard deviation, medians, interquartile ranges, and frequencies.
Palladium (Pd), a rare and precious metal, is highly valued due to its non-renewable nature and significant cost. Therefore, recovering palladium from industrial wastewater is of great importance but remains a challenge. Herein, a composite aerogel adsorbent has been developed by linking a bipyridine covalent organic framework, termed TpBpy, with chitosan (CS) through robust covalent bonds.

Aim Of The Study: To explore the role and potential mechanisms of Qingre Huayu Jianpi prescription (QHJ) treatment in the development of CAC.
Materials And Methods: Combined network pharmacology and transcriptome analyses were used to investigate QHJ-associated targets and pathways in the context of CAC.
Background: Single-cell multi-omics technologies, particularly single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq), have revolutionized our understanding of cellular heterogeneity and development by providing insights into gene expression at the single-cell level. Investigating the influence of genes on cellular behavior is crucial for elucidating cell fate determination and differentiation, cell development processes, and disease mechanisms.
Methods: Inspired by NLP, we present a novel scRNA-seq analysis method that treats genes as analogous to words.
The telomerase complex consists of a protein component (TERT), which has reverse transcriptase activity, and an RNA component (TERC), which serves as a template for telomere synthesis. Evidence is rapidly accumulating regarding the non-canonical functions of these components in both normal or diseased cells. An oligonucleotide-based drug, the first telomerase inhibitor, secured FDA approval in June 2024.

Methods: We retrospectively screened 1076 patients from September 2012 to September 2024 identifying 134 patients (154 levels) with sclerotic MCs after TLIF. Patients were divided into n-HA/PA66 group and PEEK group.

Elastomer-based electronics have the potential to maintain both electrochemical conductivity and mechanical properties simultaneously, paving the way for the development of stretchable sensors. However, creating sensors that are extremely stretchable, wearable, and highly sensitive remains a significant challenge. In this work, we present a novel fully bio-based multifunctional polymer (FPL/PTA) designed using thioctic acid (TA) and formaldehyde-protected lignin (FPL).

An adaptive dynamic weighting mechanism for group-wise wavefront updates further reinforces the stability and accuracy of imaging convergence. Additionally, a compressed phase retrieval driven by sparsity priors markedly optimizes efficiency by enabling wavefront reconstruction with single-frame diffraction.

This multifunctional protein serves several roles, including anti‑inflammatory, antibacterial, antiapoptotic and immune regulatory functions. The primary role of AAT is to protect tissues and organs from protease‑induced damage due to its function as a serine protease inhibitor.

This study presents a multi-heterostructure catalyst, FeO/CoO/Co(PO), created by encapsulating Fe ions in COF/MOF pores through grinding and one-step pyrolysis. The catalyst demonstrates exceptional OER performance, achieving an ultra-low overpotential of 232 mV, outperforming the CoO/Co(PO) single heterostructure.

Research indicates that water scarcity can lead to significant economic output losses (water scarcity risk, WSR), affecting not only the local area (referred to as local water scarcity risk, LWSR) but also causing economic losses to other regions through trade networks (referred to as virtual water scarcity risk, VWSR). With climate change exacerbating this challenge, understanding the water scarcity risk under changing climatic conditions is essential.

However, differentiation syndrome (DS) can be a life-threatening complication of induction therapy. It is considered to result from a severe systemic inflammatory response mediated by increased expression of cytokines, chemokines, and adhesion molecules on differentiating blast cells.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) classification models usually segment the entire brain image into voxel blocks and assign them labels consistent with the entire image, but not every voxel block is closely related to the disease. To this end, an AD auxiliary diagnosis framework based on weakly supervised multi-instance learning (MIL) and multi-scale feature fusion is proposed, and the framework is designed from three aspects: within the voxel block, between voxel blocks, and high-confidence voxel blocks. First, a three-dimensional convolutional neural network was used to extract deep features within the voxel block; then the spatial correlation information between voxel blocks was captured through position encoding and attention mechanism; finally, high-confidence voxel blocks were selected and combined with multi-scale information fusion strategy to integrate key features for classification decision.
