The Covid-19 pandemic created the largest global disruption of education in recorded history. This unique qualitative study examined teacher resilience as they taught remotely with technology during the pandemic, and the experiences of teachers with a comparison across a developed country (US) with a developing country (South Africa). Data from a teacher resilience survey was gathered to explore factors of teacher resilience and interview data provided insight into teacher experiences.

Objective: To determine how frequently the use of -interferon (-IFN) is associated with the development of spastic diplegia.
Study Design And Methods: Meta-analysis of 600 English manuscripts published January 1991 to June 2002 reporting -IFN use in infants/children. We identified 3,113 children 18 years of age or younger and an estimated 3,055 children 12 years of age or younger who received -IFN therapy.
[reaction: see text] Reduction of alpha,alpha-disubstituted thioglycolate amides with lithium di-tert-butylbiphenylide affords alpha,alpha-disubstituted enolates with high Z/E selectivity. Transmetalation of the enolates with dicyclohexylboron bromide facilitates highly diastereoselective aldol reaction with aromatic and alpha,beta-unsaturated aldehydes.

The anxiety caused by living with angina can be very debilitating and affects patients' quality of life. In one trust an angina management programme was set up to provide educational and psychosocial support, with an emphasis on cardiac risk factor modification. Regular monitoring of patients at nurse-led clinics and multidisciplinary teamwork were important elements.
