Microscopic and molecular evaluation of Strongyloides venezuelensis in an experimental life cycle using Wistar rats.

Introduction: Strongyloides venezuelensis is a nematode whose natural host is rats. It is used as a model for the investigation of human strongyloidiasis caused by S. stercoralis.
