Robotic-arm assisted lateral unicompartmental knee arthroplasty: 5-Year outcomes & survivorship.

Introduction: Robotic-arm assisted unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (RA-UKA) has demonstrated accurate component positioning and excellent outcomes for medial components. However, there is a paucity of literature on lateral compartment RA-UKA. The purpose of our study was to assess the midterm clinical outcomes and survivorship of lateral RA-UKA.

5-Year Survivorship and Outcomes of Robotic-Arm-Assisted Medial Unicompartmental Knee Arthroplasty.

Purpose: While unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA) has demonstrated benefits over total knee arthroplasty (TKA) in selected populations, component placement continues to be challenging with conventional surgical instruments, resulting in higher early failure rates. Robotic-arm-assisted UKA (RA-UKA) has shown to be successful in component positioning through preop planning and intraop adjustability. Robotic-arm assisted bicompartmental knee arthroplasty: Durable results up to 7-year follow-up.

When recording condylar movement paths with the aid of electronic measuring systems, it is often found that, especially in jaw opening and closing movements, excursive and incursive paths of movement are not congruent but run separately, independently of one another to a greater or lesser degree. Occlusion of artificial teeth in complete dentures: population-based analysis.

Within the follow-up (SHIP 1) of the regional population-based "Study of Health in Pomerania" (SHIP), a number of 3300 study participants were examined concerning the occlusion of artificial teeth in purely mucosa and non-implant-borne complete dentures. Three-Year Outcomes of a Highly Porous Acetabular Shell in Primary Total Hip Arthroplasty.

This multicenter study evaluated survivorship, functional outcomes, complications, and radiographic outcomes for patients who underwent total hip arthroplasty using a newly developed highly porous 3-dimensional titanium implant. Excellent aseptic (99.6%) and all-cause (98%) survivorship and functional outcomes were found at 3-year follow-up.
