We designed, developed, and clinically tested two rapid antigen-based immunosensors for SARS-CoV-2 detection, enabling diagnosis and viral load quantification for under USD $2. In a first clinical study, a screen-printed disposable carbon-based (SPC) sensor was assessed on prospectively recruited adult participants classified into three study groups: healthy donors (n = 46); SARS-CoV-2-infected symptomatic patients (n = 58); and co-habitants of patients without prior testing (n = 38). Methods: We conducted a retrospective observational study of adult women with suspicious breast lesions (BIRADS 3, 4 or 5) who underwent programmed ultrasound-guided core biopsies. Breast lesions were assessed using quantitative elastography combined with B-mode ultrasound.
Objectives: To determine the most common clinical conditions associated with older adults visiting Urgent care centers (UCCs) and the potential need for further resource use.
Design: Cross-sectional retrospective study.
Setting: Nonprofit academic medical center with campuses and multiple satellite offices in Ohio and Florida.
Nocturia is a condition that health providers must seek out and address in older adults. Since it adversely affects quality of life and carries a risk of morbidity and of death (often because of falling), this symptom must be elicited during the physician-patient encounter. Understanding its underlying causes, risk factors, and consequences is essential in formulating the most suitable management strategy.

Certain dietary supplements can react or interact with frequently used surgical medications--including anesthesia--and may cause serious unforeseen consequences or complications. Arrhythmias, poor wound healing, bleeding, photosensitivity reaction, and prolonged sedation are among the serious reactions during and after surgical and diagnostic procedures that have been attributed to these products.
