Article Synopsis
  • The study develops a new quinoline-based benzoxazine monomer (Q-xda) to create advanced carbon materials with high energy storage capacity.
  • It involves synthesizing the monomer and preparing composites with varying amounts of graphitic carbon nitride (GCN), which enhance thermal stability and char yield.
  • The final results indicate that the composite with 15 wt% GCN significantly improves electrochemical performance, making it suitable for applications like pseudocapacitors, with excellent cycling efficiency.

Lignins are natural polymers of the lignocellulosic biomass. Nowadays, there is a growing interest in developing value-added products based on lignins due to their renewability, low cost and abundance. In this work, lignin microspheres from organosolv and ionic isolation processes were prepared for the controlled release of atrazine.
