Acute perimyocarditis is commonly preceded by viral illness and presents with non-specific complaints that can be a manifestation of serious cardiac complications such as arrhythmias and heart failure. While pericarditis is a known complication of thyrotoxicosis, termed "thyrotoxic pericarditis," concomitant new-onset perimyocarditis and Graves' disease, termed "thyro-pericarditis," has been reported. We present a case of thyro-pericarditis as the initial presentation of undiagnosed and untreated Graves' disease co-occurring with recent Coxsackievirus A and B infection.

Unlabelled: COVID-19 is an acute respiratory coronavirus infection in 2019 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Currently, the number of neurological complications in the acute or delayed period of coronavirus disease is increasing, including peripheral disorders of the auditory analyzer.
Objective: To present clinical cases of sensorineural hearing loss in children under 5 years of age after a novel coronavirus infection.
In this review we provide a brief description of recently published articles addressing topics relevant to pediatric cardiologists. Our hope is to provide a summary of the latest articles published recently in other journals in our field. The articles address: 1- The use of AI in fetal echocardiography, 2- The role of Apixaban in thromboembolism prevention in pediatric congenital heart disease, 3- Cardiovascular events in childhood cancer survivors, and lastly 4- the new consensus statement on cardiac catheterization for pediatrics and adults with congenital heart disease.

Methods: This retrospective cohort study included patients who were admitted to a university-affiliated hospital and acute tertiary care referral center in Beirut, Lebanon between January 2015 and December 2018 and underwent CMS treatment for a period of 48 h or more.
Natural Language Processing (NLP) has gained prominence in diagnostic radiology, offering a promising tool for improving breast imaging triage, diagnosis, lesion characterization, and treatment management in breast cancer and other breast diseases. This review provides a comprehensive overview of recent advances in NLP for breast imaging, covering the main techniques and applications in this field. Specifically, we discuss various NLP methods used to extract relevant information from clinical notes, radiology reports, and pathology reports and their potential impact on the accuracy and efficiency of breast imaging.

Unlabelled: In this article we present the surgical approaches to the temporal bone paraganglioma based on the anatomical studies.
Objective: To detalize the anatomy of the jugular foramen according to the comparison of cadaver dissections findings and the CT scans data that were performed before the dissections, for improvement of quality of treatment of patients with temporal bone paraganglioma (Fisch type C).
Material And Methods: The data of CT scans and the steps of the approaches to the jugular foramen (retrofacial and infratemporal approaches with opening of jugular bulb and identification of the anatomical structures of jugular foramen) were analyzed on 10 cadaver heads, 20 sides.
Aim: To compare the safety and efficacy between Veress needle insertion and direct trocar insertion in laparoscopic surgeries.
Methods: Relevant clinical trials were retrieved from major databases; Web of Science, Cochrane CENTRAL, PubMed, and SCOPUS. The following outcomes were pooled for analysis: failed entry, extraperitoneal insufflation, vascular lesion, omental lesion and visceral lesion, site bleeding, reintervention, subcutaneous emphysema, solid organ lesion, and infection of the trocar site.
Objective: The diagnostic accuracy and yield of endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA) is not well established in lymphoma and other mediastinal-related diseases. The objective of this study was to examine the yield of a combined technique of EBUS-TBNA and endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial forceps biopsies (EBUS-TBFB) compared with each modality alone in lymphoma and other mediastinal-related diseases.
Methods: This was a retrospective review of cases of mediastinal lymphadenopathy of unknown etiology accessed using TBNA and TBFB.

Background: Titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO-NPs) are widely utilized in medicine and industry; however, their safety in biological organisms is still unclear. In this study, we determined the bioactive constitutes of thyme essential oil (TEO) and utilized the nanoemulsion technique to improve its protective efficiency against oxidative stress, genotoxicity, and DNA damage of biosynthesized titanium dioxide nanoparticles (TiO-NPs).
Methods: TEO nanoemulsion (TEON) was prepared using whey protein isolate (WPI).
