Background: Silver diamine fluoride (SDF) is employed in caries prevention and treatment; however, tooth discoloration post treatment is a significant disadvantage, which can be reduced using glutathione (GSH), a water soluble tripeptide.

Aim: To evaluate and compare the effect of glutathione biomolecule (GSH) and potassium iodide (KI) along with SDF on tooth discoloration and shear bond strength of glass ionomer cement (GIC) on the tooth surface.

Methods: Artificial caries were created on 48 extracted unblemished premolars and divided into four groups (SDF, SDF + KI, SDF + GSH, and Water).

Unlabelled: The primary dentition plays a very important role not only in the child's growth and development but also in the guidance and eruption of permanent teeth. Premature loss of a deciduous tooth or a group of teeth will lead to a wide range of implications in the permanent dentition. The best way to avoid these problems is to preserve the primary teeth in the arch until their normal time of exfoliation.

Malocclusion is the mal-relationship of dental arches with or without an irregularity of the teeth. Therefore, it is of interest to estimate the rate of occurrence of malocclusion within the population of Agartala city, Tripura, India. The study included 850 individuals ranging from 16 to 24 years of age, which were categorized into five distinct classifications, namely normal occlusion, Angle's Class I malocclusion, Class II Division 1, Class II Division 2, and Class III malocclusion.

The effect of different cavity liners on the shear bond strength of nanocomposite to dentin is of interest. A total of sixty extracted caries-free maxillary, mandibular molars were randomly assigned to four groups in the following manner Group 1: control (no cavity liner), group 2: Biodentin, group 3: Apacal ART and Group 4: Giomer. Following the application of different cavity liners based on the groups, restoration was carried out using nanocomposite resin using the total-etch Tetric N bond adhesive.

Context: One of the essential components for successful caries management is caries risk assessment (CRA). Among CRA tools (CRATs) published in the literature: Caries management by risk assessment (CAMBRA) 123 and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) CRATs are specifically designed for infants and toddlers.

Aims: The aim of this study is to compare readily available internationally accepted CRAT for infants and toddlers and check the usability of these tools in assigning caries risk among the Indian population.

Aim And Objective: To assess the association, if any, between oral health-related quality of life (OHRQoL) measured using child oral impact on daily performances (C-OIDP) index and dental caries and gingival bleeding status among 12-year-old school children of Bhubaneswar city.

Materials And Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted, and the data were collected using child oral impacts on daily performances index, a closed-ended questionnaire among the 12-year-old school children of Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India, to find out the association between dental caries prevalence among gingival bleeding status. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, and Chi-squared tests were used to determine the significant differences in the variable of interest.

Background: Dental pain due to pulpal involvement is difficult to diagnose due to the apparent inaccessibility of pulp to the clinical tests, indistinct symptoms, and referred toothache originating from the periodontal tissues. Though we have various clinical classification systems to categorize pulpal diseases, we are yet biased about the exact pathophysiology and pain pathway associated with it. Dental pulp has a complex physiology, and so is its pathophysiology.

Introduction: As is known, periodontal pathogens and their products as well as inflammatory mediators produced in periodontal tissues might enter the bloodstream, causing systemic effects and/or contributing to systemic diseases.

Aim: To evaluate the effect of diode lasers on the incidence of bacteremia associated with ultrasonic scaling and its clinical efficacy as an adjunct to scaling in the treatment of moderate periodontitis.

Result: The use of diode laser is more effective in killing or detoxifying periodontopathic bacteria such as associated with chronic periodontitis as compared to ultrasonic alone with ablate bacteria only when it comes in contact with plaque biofilm directly.
