Aim: Coronary artery calcification is an important factor influencing revascularisation outcomes in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Lesion preparation using rotational atherectomy (RA) may help adequately modify calcified plaques and facilitate the achievement of optimal clinical outcomes in these patients.
