The World Health Organization has released an updated instrument (Verbal Autopsy Instrument 2022) that supports electronic data collection methods along with analytical software for assigning COD. This questionnaire encompasses the primary signs and symptoms associated with prevalent diseases across all age groups.

The conventional approaches for the monitoring these organophosphate-based pesticides which include immunoassays, electrochemical methods, immunosensors, various chromatography techniques, along with some spectroscopic methods, are either costly, sophisticated, or involves the use of different metal complexes. Therefore, there is an urgent need for sensitive, quick, and easy-to-use detection techniques for the screening of widely used organophosphate-based pesticides.

The unlisted palliative care package is one of the most utilized oncology packages within Indian state health insurance schemes. We conducted a clinical audit to evaluate the appropriateness of claims for this package for patients with breast cancer.

The reaction was found to proceed through a four-membered cyclic transition state resulting from the addition of O to the CC bond of ketene. The reaction energetics has been calculated employing post-CCSD(T) corrections.

In contrast to most conventional contact techniques for measuring material elasticity, like tensile or shear rheology and atomic force microscopy, or invasive techniques using probes, such as microrheology, Brillouin light spectroscopy (BLS) offers an optical, noncontact, label-free, submicron resolution and three-dimensional (3D) mapping approach to access the mechanical moduli at GHz frequencies. Currently, the correlation between the experimental viscoelastic (at lower frequencies) and elastic (at higher frequencies) moduli has fundamental and practical relevance, but remains unclear.

Dsup has been shown to bind to DNA in vitro, a property that has been associated with the capability of Dsup to exhibit stress-protective effects when expressed in mammalian cells. However, DNA binding of Dsup has not been visualized in living cells and expression of Dsup in different cell types was associated with either protective or detrimental effects.

This study presents the findings of baseline assessment across nine schools in two states and one union territory with objective to assess, identify the gaps and improve the status of reproductive rights and evidence-based family planning and abortion services in Indian medical schools.
Methods: A convergent parallel mixed methods study was conducted in nine medical schools in Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Chandigarh a Union territory in India from October 2018 to June 2019.
Lifestyle medicine, a patient-centered approach promoting healthy lifestyle behaviors, is an evidence-based tool for preventing and treating chronic diseases. It has been shown to reduce the burden of physical and psychological diseases. Despite this, clinical implementation is lagging, with physicians facing barriers effectively encouraging lifestyle change.

Ensuring control of this strategic vital resource significantly influences the dynamics of the struggle between host and invading pathogen. Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb), the causative agent of the pulmonary disease tuberculosis (TB), has been plaguing humans for millennia and has evolved to successfully persist and multiply within host cells evading the mammalian immune defences.

To determine the role of GLTSCR1 during mouse development, we generated a Bicra germline knockout mouse using CRISPR/Cas9. Mice with homozygous loss of Bicra were born at Mendelian ratios but were small, pale and died within 24 hours after birth.

Most chemotherapeutic agents fail to reach the tumor site due to various challenges. However, smart nanocarriers have demonstrated excellent drug-loading capabilities, enabling them to cross the blood brain tumor barrier for the GBM treatment.

While it is well established that KRAS mutations drive the activation of oncogenic kinase cascades during pancreatic oncogenesis, the effects of oncogenic KRAS signaling on regulation of phosphatases during this process is not fully appreciated. Protein Phosphatase 2A (PP2A) has been implicated in suppressing KRAS-driven cellular transformation and low PP2A activity is observed in PDAC cells compared to non-transformed cells, suggesting that suppression of PP2A activity is an important step in the overall development of PDAC.

PeO is a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, however, has limited application due to susceptibility to oxidative and thermal degradation. Moreover, low consumption of omega-3 fatty acids in modern diets serves as a major cause for increased prevalence of cardiovascular diseases.
