Two dwarf bunt resistance QTLs were mapped to chromosome 6D, and KASP markers associated with the loci were developed and validated in a panel of regionally adapted winter wheats. UI Silver is an invaluable adapted resistant cultivar possessing the two identified QTL potentially associated with genes Bt9 and Bt10 and will be useful in future cultivar development to improve dwarf bunt resistance. Dwarf bunt, caused by Tilletia controversa, is a fungal disease of wheat that can cause complete loss of grain yield and quality during epidemics.

Our aim was to evaluate the accuracy of cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) arthrography in diagnosing scapholunate ligament (SLL), lunotriquetral ligament (LTL) and triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) injuries. A systematic review and literature search were conducted in compliance with Preferred Reporting Items for a Systematic Review and Meta-analysis (PRISMA) and registered at the International Prospective Register of Systematic Reviews, PROSPERO (CRD42024517655).

A new anti-CD4 antibody, Tep-lizumab, has been shown to delay the progression of DM1 and is the only medication approved for this indication. However, more information is needed about the safety profile of this drug.

However, this crop faces continuous threats from fungal pathogens, leaf rust (LR) and stripe rust (YR). To continue feeding the growing population, these major destructors of wheat must be effectively countered by enhancing the genetic diversity of cultivated germplasm.

Organ procurement from the brain-dead can address this expanding gap, especially because one brain-dead patient can potentially donate multiple organs to several recipients. Here, we describe a rare case of a previously healthy 26-year-old male who was declared brain dead after a motor vehicle accident but underwent hemodialysis to treat his acute kidney injury and hyperkalemia before successfully donating his heart and left kidney.

The incidence of PPCs could vary approximately between 20-90% with upper abdominal surgery, which can be minimized by using treatment procedures that increase lung capacity and encourage inspiration. This review aims to examine the effectiveness of already existing evidence-based interventions that promote lung expansion, thereby preventing PPCs.

Management of each entity is different, with nonfunctional tumors being treated with traditional chemotherapy while functional tumors respond well to antihormonal therapy and immunologic agents. The conversion of one nonfunctional tumor into a functional tumor is an exceedingly rare event that complicates the overall management of these patients.

Objectives: The study sought to evaluate both the clinical outcomes and response to ablation of potential drivers in patients with recurrent persistent AF recurrence following pulmonary vein isolation (PVI).
Methods: A total of 100 patients with persistent AF of <2 years' duration underwent cryoballoon PVI (ECGI phenotyping of persistent AF based on driver burden and distribution to predict response to pulmonary vein isolation).
