Objective: To assess the efficacy of targeted perioperative management for diabetic patients with traumatic calcaneal fractures.

Methods: Between April 2020 and December 2020, 100 diabetic patients with traumatic calcaneal fractures treated in our institution satisfying the inclusion criteria were enrolled and assigned to receive either conventional treatment with surgery or plaster fixation (observation group) or targeted treatment with surgery or plaster fixation (experimental group) via the random number table method, with 50 patients in each group. All eligible patients were followed up for 1 year postoperatively.

The copper in the waste printed circuit boards (WPCBs) is cleanly recycled by physical methods and presented in the form of nano copper particles by hydrometallurgical, which provides environmental approach to the advanced utilization of metal copper. Copper in WPCBs was first pre-concentrated by gradient enrichment process including gravity separation, mechanical grinding and flotation. The leaching method was then used to dissolve copper from the flotation concentrate in ammoniacal/ammonium salt solutions.

Aim: This study assessed the association of single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the proinflammatory cytokines interleukin 6 (IL-6) and IL-10 with the risk of lumbar disc herniation in a Chinese Han population.

Methods: We collected blood samples from 267 patients with lumbar disc herniation (case group) and 300 normals (control group) and performed analyses of the IL-6 572C/G and 174G/C SNPs as well as the IL-10 592A/C and 1082G/A SNPs using TaqMan technology.
