The anticoagulation and thrombolytic regimens for patients with >5 CMBs are different from those for patients with ≤ 5 CMBs. However, MRI is not suitable for evaluating CMBs in patients with MRI contraindications or acute ischemic stroke urgently requiring thrombolysis.
