Patients with generalized myasthenia gravis (MG) often show restrictive spirometry results. Although regular exercise and physical fitness are linked to better respiratory function, there is limited research assessing the effects of aerobic exercise on lung function in MG patients. Background: Aging causes locomotive syndrome (LS), which is characterized by difficulty in walking. The present study determined the effects of locomotion training and regular aerobic exercise programs on the aerobic capacity of older nursing home residents with LS stage 1.
