Introduction: The aim of the study was to assess the seroprevalence of SARS-CoV-2 in the Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, after five waves of COVID-19 and 1 year after introduction of vaccination to better understand the true extent of the COVID-19 pandemic in the population of the Republika Srpska and role of vaccination in achieving herd immunity.
Methods: The population-based study was conducted from December 2021 to February 2022 in a group of 4463 individuals in the Republika Srpska. Total anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies were determined in serum specimens using the Wantai total antibody ELISA assay.
Introduction: During the last two and a half years, severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection has spread around the world. Most of the SARS-CoV-2 vaccines are designed to produce anti-SARS-CoV-2 immunoglobulin G (IgG) against the viral S-glycoprotein. The aim of this study was to measure the anti-S antibody titres among the medical personnel who had been fully vaccinated with different types of vaccines, and to compare them with those who were COVID-19 convalescents.

The diagnosis was suggested by the patient's history and the presence of bright haematuria from the left ureteric meatus. Interventional radiology established the positive diagnosis and allowed treatment by placement of a covered prosthesis in the external iliac artery.

The puncture technique is now well established and the use of the Chiba needle considerably diminished the risk of local complications. The incidence of local complications is 5%.

This procedure is very safe and simple, and allows a dynamic study of the intra- and extra-hepatic pathways. The authors are reviewing the different modalities of radiologic evaluation of Budd-Chiari disease, including inferior vena cava phlebography, opacification of supra-hepatics veins, and coeliac arteriography.

They review the published literature on atypical bronchogenic cysts with cardiac or vascular symptoms, and the diagnostic problems they raise in adults.

Is coronary spasm the explanation for the paroxysmal myocardial ischaemia of Prinzmetal angina? Although considered adventurous two or three years ago, this hypothesis has been supported by the publication of approximately 15 cases in which the cause and effect relationship seemed to be proven by spasm seen on coronary arteriography at the same time as a typical attack. The authors report 13 cases of this type (the first of which was published in 1972). Spasm occurred in a normal coronary system in 3 cases, whilst in 2 cases there were only non-stenotic plaques of atheroma.

The biochemical diagnosis of myocardial infarction is based mainly on the enzyme levels of glutamino-oxalic transaminase (SGOT), lactic dehydrogenase (LDH), and creatine-phosphokinase (CPK). The authors have compared the level of phospho-hexo-isomerase (PHI) with the levels of the three other enzymes mentioned above in 20 cases of recent myocardial necrosis. From their study it appears that PHI activity follows essentially the same pattern as that of CPK, and has no particular advantage; indeed, it is limited by its later appearance and its lower maximum level compared with CPK.
