To deliver comprehensive and efficient care, it is crucial to understand and address the unique healthcare needs of gender and sexual minority (GSM) groups. Implementing cultural humility training may enhance healthcare students' sensitivity, awareness, and proficiency in serving patients. However, there's a necessity to thoroughly evaluate the impact and effectiveness of these interventions, especially in relation to addressing the distinct healthcare requirements of GSM groups.

Unlabelled: Diverse haploid inducer lines with > 6% of haploid induction rate are now routinely used to develop doubled haploid lines. Though gene regulates haploid induction, its molecular characterization and haplotype analysis in maize and its related species have not been undertaken so far. In the present study, the entire 1812 bp long gene was sequenced among two mutant and eight wild-type inbreds.

Seaweed extracts have shown profoundly positive effects on crop growth, quality and reproduction in diverse agricultural and horticultural crops. Seaweed extracts can be used to promote the rooting and growth of cuttings in perennial fruit species like kiwifruit (). In this study, the cuttings were treated with 1, 5, 10 and 50% solutions of G Sap (), K Sap (), AN (), EM (), HA (Humic acid) and control (water) for 6 h as base dipping.

Background: In-vivo maternal haploids serve as the basis of doubled haploid (DH) breeding in maize. R1-navajo (R1-nj) gene governing anthocyanin colouration in the endosperm and embryo is widely used to identify haploid seeds. However, the expression of R1-nj depends on genetic-background of source-germplasm used for deriving DH-lines.

Purpose: The aim of the study was to assess the predictors of adherence among elderly on antihypertensives and to examine the difference in adherence among males and females.

Patients And Methods: Cross-sectional survey design was adopted for the study. The data were collected from 800 patients of age 60 years and above using demographic proforma, clinical proforma and Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS-8) with due approval from the institutional ethical clearance committee and written informed consent from the participants.

Information on the role of boron (B) on soil physico-chemical and biological entities is scarce, and the precise mechanism in soil is still obscure. Present field investigation aimed to assessing the implication of direct and residual effect of graded levels of applied-B on soil biological entities and its concomitant impact on crop productivity. The treatments comprised of five graded levels of B with four replications.

Climate change is a critical yield-limiting factor that has threatened the entire global crop production system in the present scenario. The use of biostimulants in agriculture has shown tremendous potential in combating climate change-induced stresses such as drought, salinity, temperature stress, etc. Biostimulants are organic compounds, microbes, or amalgamation of both that could regulate plant growth behavior through molecular alteration and physiological, biochemical, and anatomical modulations.

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to find the effectiveness of Extended Infection Control Measures (EICM) in reducing the rate of methicillin-resistant (MRSA) infection among orthopaedic surgery patients.

Methods: The study adopted a quasi-experimental design and was conducted in the orthopaedic units of a tertiary care hospital. This study recruited 168 orthopaedic patients and 154 healthcare professionals (HCPs).

Conventionally tilled maize-wheat cropping system (MWCS) is an emerging cereal production system in semi-arid region of south-Asia. This system involves excessive tillage operations that result in numerous resource- and production-vulnerabilities besides impeding environmental-stresses. Likewise, phosphorus is a vital nutrient that limits crop growth and development.

Purpose: To evaluate the nutritional status (NS) of patients planned for maxillectomy and prosthodontic rehabilitation using three nutritional assessment methods.

Methods: This longitudinal study enrolled 18 planned maxillectomy patients following the inclusion and exclusion criteria. NS was evaluated at five stages: before surgery (S0), 2 weeks after surgery (S1), 3 months after insertion of intermediate obturator (S2), just before fabrication of definitive obturator (S3), and 3 months after insertion of definitive obturator (S4) using two nutritional assessment tools i.

Legumes, being angiosperm's third-largest family as well as the second major crop family, contributes beyond 33% of human dietary proteins. The advent of the global food crisis owing to major climatic concerns leads to nutritional deprivation, hunger and hidden hunger especially in developing and underdeveloped nations. Hence, in the wake of promoting sustainable agriculture and nutritional security, apart from the popular legumes, the inclusion of lesser-known and understudied local crop legumes called orphan legumes in the farming systems of various tropical and sub-tropical parts of the world is indeed a need of the hour.

A tandem amidation/epoxidation sequence between various substituted chalcones and -dimethylformamide (DMF) for the synthesis of trisubstituted epoxides employing N-heterocyclic carbene catalysis was developed. This reaction was performed under metal-free conditions in the presence of -butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) as the oxidant. Trisubstituted epoxides bearing a ketone and an amide functionality (,-dimethyl formyl group) were synthesized starting from a wide range of chalcones in moderate to good yields with excellent diastereoselectivity.
