Objectives: This study aimed to assess the relationship between diabetes mellitus (DM) and the disintegration of the residual alveolar ridge.
Methods And Materials: The study sample comprises 144 participants (64 diabetics and 80 controls). Each participant had their orthopantomagram (OPG) taken.
Background: In addition to an adjusting physical appearance, children with cleft lip and palate also deal with psychological and psychosocial limitation. Mothers' sense of coherence (SOC) could be a psychosocial determinant of oral health quality of life (OH-QoL) of cleft lip and palate patients. Hence, the present study was done to assess the relationship of mothers' SOC on OH-QoL in cleft lip and palate patients.

Materials And Methods: The present study was a cross-sectional, descriptive questionnaire study conducted among general dental practitioners (GDPs). The survey was conducted among 156 GDPs.
Background: During the orthodontic treatment, maintenance of periodontal health is of utmost importance; hence, this study was conducted to explore the perception and awareness of patients seeking orthodontic treatment toward maintenance of periodontal health and factors affecting the same.
Materials And Methods: It was a cross-sectional descriptive questionnaire study conducted among134 patients seeking orthodontic treatment from 16 private clinics in Patna. The study was conducted in the month of June 2019.
