Juvenile nasopharyngeal angiofibroma is a benign vascular lesion with propensity of bony erosion leading to skull base involvement and intracranial extension. It involves multiple compartments which are difficult to access surgically. With surgical expertise endoscopic resection of angiofibroma has become the preferred choice of surgical management.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the necessity of high resolution computed tomography (HRCT) temporal bone in patients with active squamosal chronic otitis media, by comparing the preoperative HRCT temporal bone findings with intra operative findings in a tertiary care health center where patient load is tremendous.This study was conducted in the department of otorhinolaryngology, over a period of two years from November 2017 to November 2019 in which 100 patients with active squamosal chronic otitis media diagnosed clinically were taken. The aim of this study is to evaluate the prevalence, pathogenesis and management of mucormycosis in post covid 19 patients in our tertiary care covid dedicated hospital. A prospective cross sectional study was done in 70 patients who were admitted in the covid department of BJ Medical College, Civil hospital Ahmedabad and presented with mucormycosis during admission or after discharge over a period of 10 months from March 2020 to December 2020. Middle aged to elderly population were found to be most commonly affected with mucormycosis.

To quantify the successful outcome in patients following optic nerve decompression in post traumatic unilateral optic neuropathy in form of improvement in visual acuity. A prospective study was carried out over a period of 5 years (January 2011 to June 2016) at civil hospital Ahmedabad. Total 20 patients were selected with optic neuropathy including patients with direct and indirect trauma to unilateral optic nerve, not responding to conservative management, leading to optic neuropathy and subsequent impairment in vision and blindness.
