- - The study aimed to evaluate the Indonesian version of the Young Adult Maternal Confidence Scale (YAMCS) for measuring maternal self-efficacy among pregnant teens in their last trimester.
- - It involved 90 participants, all under 19 years old, from three sub-districts in Bogor Regency, West Java, who completed a questionnaire based on the YAMCS, comprising 10 items across three dimensions: perception of ability, uncertainty, and mothering behaviors.
- - The YAMCS showed solid reliability (Cronbach's α = 0.859) and validity, making it a useful tool for health workers to assess and support the confidence of pregnant teens in their parenting abilities.
