The requirements of caring for individuals with diseases with excess care burden like heart failure (HF) comprise a source of stress for the caregiver. This situation affects the health of caregivers and may cause a reduction in their level of compassion. However, compassion is associated with psychological benefits and coping strategies like positive mood in caregivers.

Patients And Methods: Medical charts of 32 antenatally diagnosed children with UPJO operated on between 2014 and 2021 were reviewed. Patients' demographics, preoperative and postoperative anteroposterior diameter (APD), parenchymal thickness (PT) ratio, differential renal function (DF), drainage patterns and CTT were compared to determine operative benefit.
Introduction: This study explores the impact of vascular diameters on mortality risk in Coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) patients. COVID-19, caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), presents diverse clinical manifestations and is associated with thrombosis.
Materials And Methods: In this study, we retrospectively examined the data of patients who were hospitalized and treated in our hospital between September 1, 2020, and November 30, 2020, and whose COVID-19 diagnosis was confirmed by reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).
Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS)-guided transbronchial needle aspiration (TBNA) is a well-established technique for assessing lesions near the central airway. While EBUS is typically used via the airway, the esophageal approach known as endoscopic ultrasound with bronchoscope-guided fine needle aspiration (EUS-B-FNA) has gained popularity for evaluating previously inaccessible lesions. This study aimed to assess the safety and diagnostic contribution of EUS-B-FNA in elderly patients.

The aim of the study is to evaluate shared reading of families of children with chronic diseases. The mothers of children aged 2 to 6 years with chronic health problems who applied to the pediatric outpatient clinic between January and May 2022 were the study group, and the mothers of children with an acute health problem were the control group. The sociodemographic information form and "Child-Parent Shared Reading Activities Scale" were applied.

Methods: The study was conducted as a single-blind, pre-test, post-test, three-group randomized controlled trial in an outpatient CT unit between August 2022 and February 2023. A simple (computer-based) and stratified (age and gender) randomization method was used to assign 75 patients to the relaxing music group (RMG), Turkish classical music group (TCMG), and control group (CG) (n = 25 each).
Background: Nursing is a profession based on theoretical knowledge and practice, and the clinical decision-making process is important. Many factors affect the fear of negative evaluation, and fear of a negative evaluation is a potential variable that can affect clinical decision-making.
Method: This descriptive cross-sectional study included undergraduate nursing students ( = 283).
Objective: To investigate the hygiene behaviors of individuals during the Coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
Method: During the pandemic (April 2021-September 2021), 439 adults were surveyed online via Google Forms, which assessed the individuals' introductory information and hygiene behaviors as determined by the COVID-19 Hygiene Scale.
Results: Out of the participants, 71.
Objective: The objective of the study was to compare the motor development of children with Down syndrome (DS) who received physical therapy (PT) and did not receive PT, and to show the effect of PT programs started before the age of one on movement development.
Methods: The study included aged between 6 and 42 months, 58 children with DS. Children with DS were divided into two groups as receiving PT and non-receiving PT.
Introduction: Down's syndrome (DS) is a common genetic disorder. The families of children with DS generally do not receive sufficient information at the time of the diagnosis. They are dissatisfied with the manner of healthcare professionals.

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship of the femoral cartilage thickness with motor performance in children with Down syndrome (DS). A total of 39 children with DS in the age range of 12-42 months were included in the study (female/male: 21/18; mean age: 23.

Introduction: Even though atopic dermatitis (AD) most often begins in the first year of life, it is not well known whether sleep disturbances occur following the onset of the disease or whether they develop later.
Aim: To determine the sleep patterns of young children already diagnosed with AD in comparison to a control group by using a validated questionnaire, the Brief Infant Sleep Questionnaire (BISQ).
Material And Methods: Forty-six children with a new diagnosis of AD and 60 healthy children, aged 3-36 months, participated in the study.

Background: Generally, pediatricians are the first health caregivers to deliver initial diagnosis of Down syndrome (DS) to the families. However, most of the parents are not satisfied with the contents and how they receive information when their child is born with DS. Pediatric residents should target educational interventions to help parents to overcome with these issues and to provide accurate information.

To detect whether maternal MDR1 C1236T polymorphism has an effect on placental arsenic levels, 112 mother-placenta pairs were examined. Venous blood samples from mothers were collected to investigate the C1236T polymorphism which was detected by standard PCR-RFLP technique. Placentas were collected to measure arsenic levels by GF-AAS.

Materials And Methods: Thirty-six titanium abutments were put on dental implant analogs (Mis Implant). For each of three test groups (n = 12/group), implant-supported, cement-retained mandibular molar single crowns were produced.
Purpose: The bond strength of soft denture liner to a recently introduced denture base resin after thermocycling has not been compared to traditional denture base materials. The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of thermocycling on the tensile bond strength of soft denture liners to two chemically different denture base resins, polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and urethane dimethacrylate (UDMA).
Materials And Methods: A total of 48 PMMA and UDMA tensile test specimens were fabricated by attaching two different soft denture liners (Molloplast-B, Permaflex) according to the manufacturers' instructions and assigned to two groups.
Objective: The present study was to assess the effect of surface treatments of Er:YAG, Nd:YAG, and Ho:YAG lasers on the tensile bond strength of a silicone-based resilient liner to an acrylic denture in an in vitro setting.
Methods: Experimental dumbbell-shaped specimens (75 mm) were produced by combining two acrylate pieces fabricated from heat-polymerized acrylic resin (36 mm) with 3 mm of Molloplast(®)-B filling between them. The specimens (n=200) were randomly divided in half for thermocycling, and each 100 specimen set was randomized into five groups (n=20) with different surface treatments: control (no surface treatment), sandblasting, Er:YAG laser, Nd:YAG laser, and Ho:YAG laser.
This study aims to compare the effect of low-level laser therapy (LLLT) and ozone therapy on the bone healing. Thirty-six adult male Wistar albino rats were used for this study. Monocortical defects were shaped in right femur of all rats.
