Purpose: To investigate the role of partial human papillomavirus (HPV) genotyping tests in predicting the diagnosis of high-grade cervical intraepithelial lesion and cancer (HSIL +) as a result of colposcopic histopathology.

Materials And Methods: The study included 2872 patients who presented at our colposcopy unit between January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2019 and underwent colposcopy for the first time. The patients were compared in terms of HSIL + results as HPV 16/18 and HPV other type positive groups.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) on the prevalence of metabolic syndrome (MBS) in adolescent girls with normal BMI.

Materials And Methods: Our study group consisted of 63 pubertal girls with a BMI less than 25 kg/m(2) who were referred to our center with signs of hirsutism or oligomenorrhea. The diagnosis of PCOS was based on the recent ESHRE/ASRM proposal and required that all 3 of the Rotterdam criteria for diagnosing PCOS in adolescents be met.
