This paper aimed to describe another form of aggressive limited Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA) revealed by dacryoadenitis. We report an unusually limited GPA in a 48-year-old man presenting with bilateral proptosis. She had never presented kidney or pulmonary manifestations, but her disease was persistently active including oto-rhino-laryngological manifestations, dacryoadenitis, and neurological manifestations unresponsive to corticosteroids and immunosuppressors.

After a first episode of unprovoked vein thrombosis, the risk of recurrence persists for many years. Long term of anticoagulant therapy prevents the recurrence of vein thrombosis but is associated with a major risk of bleeding. As platelets play a role in the initiation and propagation of venous thromboembolism as well, antiplatelet agents, may play a role in the treatment and prevention of this disease.

Cardiac involvement is rarely reported and could be associated to poor prognosis. Intracardiac thrombosis is exceptional and represents a therapeutic issue.

A 65-year-old woman with a complaint of progressive dyspnoea since 2016 presented with laryngeal involvement of RDD. A laryngoscopy examination revealed two solid, polypoid masses in the subglottic region, and a laryngeal biopsy concluded chronic inflammation without signs of malignancy.

Unlabelled: The coexistence of two immune-mediated diseases in the same patient is unusual. Takayasu's arteritis (TA), which is a chronic granulomatous vasculitis, was discovered in a 47-year-old woman followed for tubulointerstitial nephritis and uveitis syndrome (TINU syndrome). We present the first case of this association.

HPV16 and HPV18 are generally the most common forms associated with development of high-grade cervical lesions. This study was undertaken to identify intratypic variants of HPV16 and HPV18 among women with cervical lesions in Tunisia.

Tunisia is an endemic area, however, and incidence of RHD is weakly documented. We aimed at establishing the standardized incidence rate (SIR) of RHD in Monastir governorate and at determining RHD prevalence among hospitalized patients in two cardiology departments.

In the title complex, chlorido-tetra-kis-(1H-imidazole-κN (3))cobalt(II) chloride, [CoCl(C3H4N2)4]Cl, the Co(II) cation has a distorted square-pyramidal coordination environment. It is coordinated by four N atoms of four imidazole (Im) groups in the basal plane, and by a Cl atom in the apical position. It is isostructural with [Cu(Im)4Cl]Cl [Morzyk-Ociepa et al.

The relative paucity of this kind of infection and the difficulty in matching the causative microorganisms of a brain abscess to an odontogenic source can explain the late management of patients. We herein describe a case of a 46-year-old man with a cerebellar abscess that was probably due to an odontogenic infection.

Only a few studies in literature have been conducted to evaluate the safety and acceptability of this act.
Patients And Methods: Prospective, mono-center, non-comparative study involving 120 patients who underwent a flexible bronchoscopy for diagnostic.
Background: Diabetic nephropathy (DN) is the single greatest cause of end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Without specific interventions, microalbuminuria (incipient nephropathy) gradually progresses to macroalbuminuria (overt nephropathy) within 10-15 years in about 80% of type 1 and 30% of type 2 diabetic patients, and to ESRD within further 20 years in about 75% and 20%, respectively. A primary alteration in DN consists of decreased concentration of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) in the glomerular extracellular matrix.

Current speech processing strategies for cochlear prosthesis system use filter bank structure in order to extract speech signal's energies relatively to the multiple frequency bands which are associated to the dedicated stimulation electrodes. This research concerned wavelet filtering module based on Mellin transform and dedicated to one cochlear speech processing strategy. Our bank filtering module was composed of twenty one filters designed according to Morlet mother wavelet and distributed along the Munich critical bands.

Cardiac localisation of hydatid cysts is rare representing 0.5 to 2% of all clinical forms of this condition. Hydatid cysts are usually observed in the left ventricle and involvement of the interventricular septum is exceptional.

Such deficiencies, which are known to result in megaloblastic anaemia at a late stage, may also influence the granulocyte and platelet lines, but pancytopenia rarely occurs.
