Background: At a time when Internet and social media use is omnipresent among patients in their self-directed research about their medical or surgical needs, artificial intelligence (AI) large language models (LLMs) are on track to represent hallmark resources in this context.
Objectives: The authors aim to explore and assess the performance of a novel AI LLM in answering questions posed by simulated patients interested in aesthetic breast plastic surgery procedures.
Methods: A publicly available AI LLM was queried using simulated interactions from the perspective of patients interested in breast augmentation, mastopexy, and breast reduction.
Purpose: This study aims to find whether the proliferation and migration of triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) cell lines can be reduced by treatment with bromodomain and extra-terminal domain (BET) inhibitor JQ1 and BET protein targeting chimeras (PROTACs) ARV-771 and MZ1.
Methods: Cytotoxicity tests, scratch migration assays and western blot proteome profiler arrays for protein expression of cancer-related proteins were used to evaluate the impact of a BET-inhibitor and two BET-directed PROTACs on cell viability, migration and on protein expression.
Results: JQ1 and the PROTACs MZ1 and ARV-771 significantly inhibited the growth and migration of the KRAS G13D-mutated MDA-MB-231 cells.
Background: Mentor MemoryGel Xtra breast implants (Mentor Worldwide LLC, Irvine, CA) were designed to maintain the soft, natural feel of MemoryGel implants while increasing fullness and projection and minimizing wrinkling, rippling, and related complications through optimization of shell gel-fill.
Objectives: To measure 3-year safety and effectiveness of MemoryGel Xtra breast implants in the Mentor MemoryGel and MemoryShape Combined Cohort Clinical Study.
Methods: Participants were implanted with MemoryGel Xtra breast implants in a prospective, multicenter clinical trial.

To address this, it is postulated that the surface area of an implant as defined by the surrounding pocket may provide a quantifiable variable that can be measured to evaluate the degree of capsular contracture.
Methods: A bench model for capsular contracture was developed.
Background: The indications for nipple-sparing mastectomy have broadened over time. Patients undergoing nipple-sparing mastectomy who have enlarged or ptotic breasts are at risk for skin flap and/or nipple-areola complex necrosis. Premastectomy mastopexy or breast reduction may reduce the risk for these complications.

Changes in standard of care and insights into best practice were recently presented at the 3rd World Consensus Conference on BIA-ALCL.
Objectives: The authors sought to provide practice recommendations from a consensus of experts, supplemented with a literature review regarding epidemiology, etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment, socio-psychological aspects, and international authority guidance.
Background: In breast augmentation, breast base diameter has been recognized as an important variable in implant selection. However, breast implant volume also has a tremendous impact on the final result. Previous methods of preoperative volume determination have been limited to external devices in a bra.

The authors present a unique case of chronic persisting hematoma formation at the site of a remote congenital melanocytic nevus excision with tissue expander reconstruction. Similarities between chronic persisting hematoma and chronic encapsulated seroma are addressed to provide guidance on the appropriate workup and management for the plastic surgeon. LEVEL OF EVIDENCE V: This journal requires that authors assign a level of evidence to each article.
