Polymorphisms of the vitamin D receptor (VDR) genes and 24-α-hydroxylase (encoded by CYP24A1) may affect the outcome of some cancers. This study examines the effects of the VDR gene and CYP24A1 single nucleotide polymorphisms on the outcome of supraglottic larynx cancer.
