This study aimed to investigate the relationship between chronotype and premenstrual syndromes with food preferences and appetite among 931 women aged 18-40 who attended a private nutrition clinic in Istanbul. The survey data were analyzed using SPSS v27. Based on voluntary participation, questionnaires consisting of sociodemographic questions, the Morningness-Eveningness Questionnaire (MEQ), Premenstrual Syndrome Scale (PSS), Simplified Appetite Questionnaire (SAQ), International Physical Activity Questionnaire (Short Form) (IPAQ), and Food Choice Test (FCT) were administered to women.

Speech processing requires extracting meaning from acoustic patterns using a set of intermediate representations based on a dynamic segmentation of the speech stream. Using whole brain mapping obtained in fMRI, we investigate the locus of cortical phonemic processing not only for single phonemes but also for short combinations made of diphones and triphones. We find that phonemic processing areas are much larger than previously described: they include not only the classical areas in the dorsal superior temporal gyrus but also a larger region in the lateral temporal cortex where diphone features are best represented.

In this study, a novel biosorbent material was created from the waste product of with the surfactant modification (Hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide) and tried as a potential alternative to commercial (powdered) activated carbon for the treatment of synthetic dye (Fast green FCF, triarylmethane (anionic) type) pollution in aquatic environment. The treatment capability of biosorbent material was evaluated by the parameter optimization, kinetic, thermodynamic, equilibrium and characterization experiments. The optimum treatment conditions were found to be pH of 3, biosorbent amount of 10 mg, synthetic dye concentration of 15 mg L, temperature of 45 °C and operation time of 360 min.

In the present research paper, a biosorptive remediation practice for an aqueous medium sample polluted with manganese ions was implemented using the activated coastal waste of the plant. This is the first report in the literature on the utilization of current modified biological waste as a biosorbent substance for the removal of manganese ions from the water environment. The analyses of biosorbent characterization, environmental condition, kinetic, equilibrium, and comparison were performed to introduce the ability of prepared biosorbent for the removal of manganese from the aquatic medium.
