Effectiveness of bracing combined with exercise-based treatment of adolescent idiopathic scoliosis: Assessing the synergistic benefits: A systematic review.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate evidence on the effectiveness of combined bracing and exercise on adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS). From inception to April 28, 2022, PubMed and Web of Science searched for randomized clinical and nonrandomized prospective studies reporting Cobb angle (CA), angle of trunk rotation (ATR), quality of life (QoL), and pulmonary function (PF) in AIS patients treated with exercise and braces (10 years-skeletal maturity). Two authors analyzed and extracted data for this review.
