Background: Many health departments and private enterprises began offering SARS-CoV-2 testing to travelers at US airports in 2020. Persons with positive SARS-CoV-2 test results who have planned upcoming travel may be subject to US federal public health travel restrictions. We assessed availability of testing for SARS-CoV-2 at major US airports.

- The study analyzed the effectiveness of federal health tools (Do Not Board and Border Lookout) in identifying and referring travelers with tuberculosis (TB) for treatment between 2007 and 2013.
- Of the 66 individuals on the list, the majority were Hispanic males, with many being U.S. citizens or undocumented migrants, and a significant portion had multidrug-resistant TB.
- The use of these intervention tools successfully located and treated most patients but left over a quarter, particularly undocumented migrants, still unreached and lost to follow-up.
