The impact of propolis supplementation on inflammatory biomarkers: A meta-analysis and systematic review of randomized controlled clinical trials.

Recent interventional investigations suggest the beneficial impact of propolis supplementation on inflammatory biomarkers; however, the results have not been summarized in a comprehensive meta-analysis. We conducted this meta-analysis to summarize all available data and provide clear evidence for whether propolis supplementation affects inflammatory biomarkers. This systematic review with meta-analysis was performed by searching databases (PubMed/Medline, Web of Science, Scopus, and Embase) until February 2024.

Safety considerations during return to work in the context of stable COVID-19 epidemic control: an analysis of health screening results of all returned staff from a hospital.

In March 2020, China had periodically controlled the coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) epidemic. We reported the results of health screening for COVID-19 among returned staff of a hospital and conducted a summary analysis to provide valuable experience for curbing the COVID-19 epidemic and rebound. In total, 4729 returned staff from Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University, Wuhan, China were examined for COVID-19, and the basic information, radiology and laboratory test results were obtained and systematically analysed.

[Practice of engineering management and its effect on schistosomiasis control in Hankou marshland, Wuhan City].

Objective: To investigate the snail control effect of schistosomiasis control engineering in marshland within Wuhan City.

Methods: The engineering measures including surface barrier removal, molluscicide, flatting surface, topsoil stripping, topsoil covering and ditch renovation were applied to transform Hankou marshland. Then the corresponding technical parameters of engineering measures were put forward.
