Background: Glioma is one of the most aggressive and lethal malignancies in central nervous system. It has been reported that miR-429 is declined in glioma and functions as a tumor suppressor. Nonetheless, the potential role of miR-429 in drug resistance of glioma is still ambiguous.

However, the sensitivity to both carrier frequency offset (CFO) and phase noise greatly impedes its applications in millimeter-wave ISAC systems. Here, we propose and experimentally demonstrate a photonic millimeter-wave ISAC system employing the virtual-carrier-aided self-coherent OFDM technique, wherein a digitally-generated local oscillator is transmitted along with the OFDM signal.

In ternary OSCs, the complementary or broadened absorption spectrum, optimized morphology, and enhanced photovoltaic performance could be obtained by selecting a third rational component for the host system. In this work, a fused ring electron acceptor named BTMe-C8-2F, which possesses a high-lying lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) energy level and a complementary absorption spectrum to PM6:Y6, was introduced to a PM6:Y6 binary system.

Inflammation-related intestinal diseases, including enteritis, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and colorectal cancer (CRC), are heavy burdens for human beings due to their high incidence and devastating clinical symptoms. Current studies have confirmed that inflammatory responses, along with oxidative stress and dysbiosis as critical pathogenesis, are involved in most intestinal diseases.

It is caused by different mechanisms, including inflammation, apoptosis, necroptosis, pyroptosis, and autophagy. Variants in the usherin gene () have been reported in autosomal recessive RP with or without hearing loss.

We aimed to determine and compare the prognostic value of the ISII, preoperative systemic immune-inflammation index (PSII) and their dynamic changes (PISII).
Methods: This study respectively collected data from 362 NMIBC patients receiving BCG treatment in our institution.

Photonic-crystal-like devices and photonic-crystal-like microcavities in graphene are investigated theoretically. The results show that the size of the photonic-crystal-like device and the photonic-crystal-like microcavity is able to be scaled down to more than 2 orders of magnitude smaller than that of the realistic conventional photonic crystal with the same energy, due to the shorter optical-like transport wavelength in graphene. So, the graphene-based photonic-like devices offer a higher degree of integration than their conventional counterparts.

Various DMs among HFLTSs have been proposed, which enhance the applicability of HFLTSs in multicriteria decision making (MCDM) under qualitative hesitation information. However, existing strategies not only have their own pros and cons but also fail to measure linguistic assessments from multiple linguistic term sets with different distributions (i.

However, most existing studies do not consider the performance bottleneck of Region of Interest (RoI) extraction during decoding, making it challenging to improve communication capacity further. To this end, we propose a fast grid virtual division scheme based on pixel grayscale values, which extracts RoI quickly without sacrificing computational complexity, thereby reducing the decoding delay and improving the communication capacity of OCC.

Visible light positioning (VLP) has attracted intensive attention from both academic and industrial communities thanks to its high accuracy, immunity to electromagnetic interference, and low deployment cost. In general, the receiver in a VLP system determines its own position by exploring the received signal strength (RSS) from the transmitter according to a pre-built RSS attenuation model. In such model-based methods, the LED's emission power and the receiver's height are usually required known and constant parameters to obtain reasonable positioning accuracy.

Protein glycosylation is one of the ubiquitous post-translational modifications in eukaryotic cells, which play important roles in plant growth and adverse response. In this study, we performed the first comprehensive wheat plasma membrane N-glycoproteome analysis under drought stress via glycopeptide HILIC enrichment and LC-MS/MS identification. In total, 414 glycosylated sites corresponding to 407 glycopeptides and 312 unique glycoproteins were identified, of which 173 plasma membrane glycoproteins with 215 N-glycosylation sites were significantly regulated by drought stress.

When scaling the lateral size of a ferroelectric random access memory (FeRAM) device down to the nanometer range, the polarization switching-induced displacement current becomes small and challenging to detect, which greatly limits the storage density of FeRAM. Here, we report the observation of significantly enhanced injection currents, much larger than typical switching currents, induced by polarization switching in BiFeO thin films via conductive atomic force microscopy. Interestingly, this injected current can be effectively modulated by applying mechanical force.
