Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic required rapid curriculum adaptation to online delivery. Given the importance of accurate clinical patient handoffs, we adapted simulation-based medical student training in clinical patient handoffs. We scored the accuracy of the information students presented.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze the decay of information with multiple sequential patient handoff reports given by third-year medical students who have not had standardized patient handoff training.

Methods: We examine the information decay of quantitative parameters included in 2 different simulated patient history and physical handoffs conducted among third-year medical students. Both student self-surveys and third party observer surveys tracked accuracy of information.

Objectives: To assess the effectiveness of human patient simulation to teach patient safety, team-building skills, and the value of interprofessional collaboration to pharmacy students.

Design: Five scenarios simulating semi-urgent situations that required interprofessional collaboration were developed. Groups of 10 to 12 health professions students that included 1 to 2 pharmacy students evaluated patients while addressing patient safety hazards.
