Materials And Methods: CLD patients referred from the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Department diagnosed as chronic hepatitis B (N:101), cirrhosis (N:110), and hepatocellular carcinoma (N:169) with available information on body height, weight, Child-Pugh and MELD scores within 2 weeks of CT or MRI scanning were included in the study. Cross-sectional examinations were retrospectively evaluated for skeletal muscle index (SMI) and visceral adipose tissue area (VATA).
Randomized studies evaluating hypofractionation and conventional fractionation radiotherapy treatments (RT) in patients with breast cancer have shown that hypofractionation achieves similar results to conventional fractionation in terms of survival and local control rates. It has also been shown that their long-term toxicities are similar. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of hypofractionated radiotherapy (H-RT) and conventional radiotherapy (C-RT) on lung toxicity and identify factors affecting this toxicity in patients with breast cancer.

In this study, VMAT/IMRT/hybrid/tomotherapy plans were made to reach the safest and most effective dose distribution for each of the patients and the results were compared.
Methods: Double volumetric-modulated arc therapy (VMAT) and 7- and 9-field intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) plans were made to 21 locally advanced NCs with Varian Trilogy System.

Background: There is currently no objective computed tomography (CT)-defined grading system for coronavirus disease (COVID-19)-related pulmonary fibrosis. We propose a CT-based radiological scale that adapts the histological fibrosis scale to pulmonary fibrosis CT findings, to evaluate possible predictive factors for the degree of fibrosis in these patients.
Methods: A new radiological fibrosis grading system was created based on existing histological fibrosis scales.
Studies assessing peritoneal thickness by CT in peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients are lacking. A detailed optical model is used to extract the optical parameters, such as refractive index and extinction coefficient in order to extrapolate the band gap values of CZTSe samples, and to obtain information about the presence of secondary phases at the front and back sides of the samples. We show that SE can be used as a non-destructive method for detection of the secondary phases ZnSe and MoSe and to extrapolate the band gap values of CZTSe phase.

Objective: Transcutaneous, arterial and end-tidal measurements of carbon dioxide were compared in patients (American Society of Anesthesiology physical status classes II and III) with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) who underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy with carbon dioxide insufflation.
Methods: General anaesthesia was performed in all patients. The Sentec(®) system was used for transcutaneous monitoring of the partial pressure of carbon dioxide (TcPCO(2)).
Objective: To compare the effectiveness of transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS), interferential currents (IFCs), and shortwave diathermy (SWD) against each other and sham intervention with exercise training and education as a multimodal package.
Design: A double-blind, randomized, controlled, multicenter trial.
Setting: Departments of physical medicine and rehabilitation in 4 centers.
Immunoglobulins (Ig) A and G subclass deficiencies are common immune system disorders which cause morbidity especially between 2 and 6 yr of age. Prognosis of these defects and therapeutic approach is unclear. The aim of the present retrospective study was to review the clinical and laboratory records of 87 children with IgA and/or IgG subclass deficiency to determine whether these patients experience changes in serum Ig concentrations during follow-up and to give more clinic and laboratory information to the families about the course of these diseases.

We report a 15-y-old girl who had pancytopenia and who was admitted to our hospital with acute onset of bilateral blindness and fever. There was no light perception, and anterior segment and fundus examination were normal in both eyes.
