Over the past three decades, non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS) techniques have gained worldwide attention and demonstrated therapeutic potential in various medical fields, particularly psychiatry. The emergence of these novel techniques has led to an increased need for robust training programs to provide practitioners, whether clinicians or scientists, with the necessary skills and knowledge. In response, a comprehensive training curriculum for NIBS in psychiatry has been developed in France.

In this article we aimed synthesize all available evidence regarding the effects of non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS) techniques combined with mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs) on mental health indicators. We performed a systematic review of randomized controlled trials evaluating NIBS/MBIs combinations in clinical populations and a random effects pairwise meta-analysis of studies evaluating anxiety and depression symptoms. After independent trial selection by two authors based on titles/abstracts, and then on full texts, twelve trials were retrieved.

The development of devices for continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion (CSII or insulin pumps) dramatically improved medical care for patients with diabetes mellitus. Insulin pump production widens annually resulting in number of new models entering the market, that differs in price but are similar in technical features. The entering of such new models to the Russian market can cause practical issues both in patient and in health care provider, so their estimation is of great importance.

While both have showed promising results on a range of symptoms related to mental health, their combination has more recently grabbed the attention of researchers. There is a theoretical framework for their synergistic effects, and these effects can be tested through a variety of neurophysiological and clinical outcomes.

MBIs may be particularly appropriate for this purpose given the neurobiological mechanisms of addiction with automatic behavior in response to the negative affect. In this systematic review and meta-analysis, we aimed to study the efficacy of MBIs in craving reduction and to synthetize the newly published data.

Methods: We conducted semi-structured interviews with eleven physicians practicing addiction medicine in France in clinical and harm reduction settings.
Results: All participants were in favor of educational interventions for people who inject drugs.
Objectives: Nightmares can be defined as "an unpleasant dream with anxiety and oppression". They represent a symptom possibly leading to serious psychiatric and physical consequences. It occurs to 2% to 8% of the general population.

Materials And Methods: 75 pregnant with confirmed AS (modified New York criteria, 1984) were included for prospective observation. Of these, 44 women were followed up for 1 year after delivery.
Background: According to the treat-to-target strategy for spondyloarthritis (SpA), the main goal is to achieve clinical remission or inactive disease. In 2001, the Assessment of Spondyloarhtritis International Society (ASAS) formulated the ASAS criteria for partial remission, and the Russian expert group for the study of SpA identified clinical-laboratory remission (no clinical manifestations of the disease that persists for 6 months in the presence of normal values of C-reactive protein and erythrocyte sedimentation rate), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) remission and complete remission (a combination of clinical-laboratory and MRI remission).
Aim: To determine the frequency of achieving clinical-laboratory and ASAS partial remission in patients with early axial SpA (axSpA) at the 3rd year of follow-up.
Aim: The aim of the study was to evaluate the incidence and prognostic impact of central nervous system (CNS) involvement in infants with B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (BCP-ALL), as well as its relation with minimal residual disease (MRD) data.
Methods: A total of 139 consecutive infants with BCP-ALL from the MLL-Baby trial were studied. Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) samples were investigated by microscopy of cytospin slides.
Background And Aims: Non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS) methods have showed promising results for the treatment of tobacco use disorder, but little is known about the efficacy of NIBS on sustained tobacco abstinence. We aimed to assess its effectiveness for long-term smoking cessation.
Methods: Systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCT).
This study aimed to evaluate the concordance between minimal residual disease (MRD) results obtained by multicolour flow cytometry (MFC) and polymerase chain reaction for fusion gene transcripts (FGTs) in infants with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) associated with rearrangement of the KMT2A gene (KMT2A-r). A total of 942 bone marrow (BM) samples from 123 infants were studied for MFC-MRD and FGT-MRD. In total, 383 samples (40.

Either at the end of induction or at later time-points, FGT-MRD-positivity was associated with poor outcome. FGT-MRD-positivity after first consolidation or first high-risk block detected 46·5% of infants with extremely poor outcome [disease-free survival (SE) 0·06 (0·06), cumulative incidence of relapse (SE) 0·91 (0·05)], which was also confirmed in multivariable analysis.

Synthesis of peroxides under heterogeneous conditions is a rare process and represents a challenge for this field of chemistry, because peroxides tend to decompose on the surface of a catalyst . A new class of antifungal agents for crop protection, that is, cyclic peroxides: bridged 1,2,4,5-tetraoxanes and bridged ozonides, was discovered.

However, because of their great genetic heterogeneity, cancer cells display different levels of sensitivity to particular enterovirus strains, which may substantially limit the chances of a positive clinical response. We show that a non-pathogenic strain of coxsackievirus B6 (LEV15) can efficiently replicate to high titers in the malignant human cell lines C33A, DU145, AsPC-1 and SK-Mel28, although it displays much lower replication efficiency in A431 and A549 cells and very limited replication ability in RD and MCF7 cells, as well as in the normal lung fibroblast cell line MRC-5 and the immortalized mammary epithelial cell line MCF10A.

A multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for identification of four viruses causing acute respiratory diseases in human beings was developed. The analytical sensitivity of developed RT-PCR for identification of adenovirus, respiratory-syncytial virus, flu viruses types A and B, and actual subtypes of type A flu virus (seasonal and pandemic variants H1N1, seasonal H3N2, and viruses of bird flu that are pathogenic to human beings H5 and H7) was 1 × 10 genome equivalents per milliliter. Diagnostic sensitivity for flu virus type A and B, and also subtypes H1 (seasonal H1N1, pandemic variant of H1N1 of year 2009), H3, H5 was 1 × 10-10 viral particles per milliliter.

Rats divided into groups of "impulsive" and "self-controlled" animals by their preference of either high valuable but delayed or a low valuable but immediate food reward were studied by the method of "emotional resonance". It was shown that all rats of the "self-controlled" group choosing a high valuable although delayed reinforcement did not escape the defensive signals of another animal of the same species and for the most part of the trial time preferred to stay in the dark "house". The majority of animals belonging to the "impulsive" group (80%) spent more than a half of the time of the experiment in the bright compartment and thus saved a partner from electrical stimulation.
