A serious limitation to the deployment of IoT solutions in rural areas may be the lack of available telecommunications infrastructure enabling the continuous collection of measurement data. A nomadic computing system, using a UAV carrying an on-board gateway, can handle this; it leads, however, to a number of technical challenges. One is the intermittent collection of data from ground sensors governed by weather conditions for the UAV measurement missions.

The purpose of this study was to test these parameters as to their predictive value for the peri-interventional risk of CAS.
Methods: Pro-CAS is a prospective, multicenter registry of CAS.
Background: Intravenous iloprost, titrated from 0.5 up to 2.0 ng/kg/min has been shown in patients with PAOD III/IV to significantly improve healing of trophic lesions, relief of rest pain, and reduce the rate of major amputation or death at 6 months as compared to placebo.

Two photodiodes are mounted inside an inverse microscope used for visual control of a cell. Illumination of one diode varies in proportion to changes in cell length.

In the present paper we report the results of further studies of flow velocity and flow volume through high-grade coronary artery stenosis of severity III and III--IV. Compared with the results obtained on normal and mildly stenosed arteries, measurements at rest through severely stenosed coronaries showed an almost constant flow.

The first results concerning front and wave velocity of a selectively injected contrast bolus are reported. Average absolute flow volumes in the right coronary artery are 114 ml.

Kymography performed for the diagnosis of cardiac aneurysms and myocardial scars is relatively accurate (53%), as shown by a comparison with the laevocardiograms. Of the aneurysms demonstrated by laevocardiography in the left ventricle (31), it was possible to show 22 (71%) kymographically.
