The existing research aims to explore the relationships between working conditions, job satisfaction and health-related quality of life (HRQL) of Chinese rural-to-urban migrants. Both probability and nonprobability sampling methods were done in four randomly chosen jurisdictions of Nanjing (N = 712). Results reveal that the working environment has the strongest and positive correlation with job satisfaction.

The goal of the present article is to investigate whether positive and negative affects mediate or moderate the impact of self-esteem on life satisfaction among Chinese rural-to-urban migrants. Participants contained 712 rural-to-urban migrants recruited from four construction sites in China, who were evaluated with Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, Positive and Negative Affect Scale, and Satisfaction with Life Scale. Correlation analysis indicated self-esteem positively predicted life satisfaction.

The present study aimed to examine whether loneliness and resilience played the roles of mediators on the relationship between perceived social support and depression. A total of 712 Chinese rural-to-urban migrants from Nanjing, who were measured with perceived social support, resilience, loneliness, and depression, participated in the study. Results indicated that perceived social support and resilience were negatively associated with depression.
