An unusual presentation of bilateral Hutch diverticula.

Summary Hutch diverticula are rare congenital diverticula. The general consensus is that they occur secondary to a congenital failure of normal muscle development around the ureteral orifice where Waldeyer sheath anatomically covers the space between the intravesical ureter and muscular layer of the bladder. Our case highlights the radiological appearance of Hutch diverticula and the need for contrast-enhanced imaging to enable accurate evaluation and diagnosis.

Erythroplasia of queyrat.

A 58-year-old Caucasian male presented to the urology clinic reporting an approximate one-year history of a persistent irritating, slowly progressive, glans penis redness. Biopsy revealed penile squamous cell carcinoma in situ. He underwent a partial glansectomy with circumcision and skin grafting.

A simple football injury leading to a grade 4 renal trauma.

This case highlights the need for cautious management and serial regular examination of trauma patients. A 22-year-old Caucasian male presented to the emergency department 4 h following an injury sustained during football training. He complained of the immediate onset of severe left upper quadrant and left flank pain.

Haematuria in association with Lynch syndrome.

A 40-year-old Caucasian male presented to the Emergency Department complaining of intermittent painless frank haematuria. Past medical history was significant for Hereditary Non-Polyposis Colon Cancer (HNPCC) and a prophylactic total colectomy. Computed tomography urogram showed thickening in the posterior wall of the bladder.

Primary bladder amyloidosis.

Primary localised bladder amyloidosis is a very rare entity, with only 200 cases reported worldwide. Our case illustrates the classical presentation of isolated bladder amyloidosis with frank painless haematuria and irritative voiding symptoms.

Giant adrenal pseudocyst harbouring adrenocortical cancer.

The authors report a very rare case of adreno-cortical carcinoma arising in a giant adrenal pseudocyst. A 64-year-old woman presented to the emergency department with a 6 week history of progressively worsening severe left abdominal pain, anorexia, anergia and constipation. On examination, she was cachectic with tenderness over the left abdomen and flank.
