This study aimed to compare the serum lipid profiles between tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (TDF) and tenofovir alafenamide (TAF) in the long-term treatment of chronic hepatitis B (CHB). We analyzed data from treatment-naïve CHB patients administered with TDF or TAF, collected from electronic medical records between May 2017 and September 2022. Serum lipid indices, including total cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), low-density (LDL) and high-density lipoprotein (HDL), and their ratios (TC/HDL, LDL/HDL), were assessed at baseline, and at 48 and 96 weeks.

In the first-line treatment of biliary tract cancers (BTCs), XELOX (capecitabine plus oxaliplatin) showed comparable clinical efficacy and safety to gemcitabine and oxaliplatin (GEMOX), with fewer visits and better treatment management. Our study aims to investigate the cost-effectiveness of XELOX and GEMOX as the first-line therapy for BTCs from the perspective of the Chinese healthcare systems and to provide valuable suggestions for clinical decision-making. A Markov model was developed using the phase 3 randomized clinical trial (ClinicalTrials.

An electrochemiluminescence and photothermal immunosensor based on a dual-modality integrated probe was proposed for sensitive and reliable detection of lipolysis stimulated lipoprotein receptor (LSR), a new biomarker of ovarian cancer. Black phosphorous quantum dots (BPQDs) possess fascinating electrochemical property and unique photothermal effect, which could not only enhance ECL signal of N-(4-aminobutyl)-N-ethylisoluminol (ABEI) through accelerating dissolved O evolution but also realize temperature signal output by converting laser energy into heat. Furthermore, NiFeO nanotubes (NiFeO NTs) have large specific surface area and favorable adsorption ability, which could increase the immobilized amount of ABEI and BPQDs, further strengthening ECL and temperature signal.
