The study aimed to assess the effectiveness of a single vial kit for labeling DTPA-bis-methionine with a radioactive tracer ([99m]Tc) in detecting primary breast cancer in patients.
Thirty female patients, all showing signs of breast cancer, underwent imaging tests after receiving the radiotracer, with results showing high accuracy in identifying cancerous lesions.
The findings suggest that the DTPA-bis-MET kit is a promising and easily produced option for breast cancer detection, offering significant diagnostic potential compared to traditional methods.
