Spontaneous bladder rupture masquerading as loculated ascites with septations in postpartum - A case report.

The occurrence of spontaneous bladder rupture during labor or the postpartum period after an uncomplicated vaginal delivery is exceedingly uncommon. However, we encountered a case involving spontaneous bladder rupture, which resulted in the development of localized fluid collections in the abdomen after an uncomplicated vaginal delivery. In this instance, the absence of typical peritonitis symptoms, such as abdominal pain or tenderness, and the lack of typical urological symptoms, including haematuria, dysuria, and anuria, coupled with the absence of clinical manifestations of puerperal sepsis, the absence of microbial presence in the ascitic fluid, and the patient's symptomatic amelioration following antibiotic therapy, contributed to a delay in identifying the bladder rupture.

Correlation of cardiotocography with combined APGAR scores and diagnostic performance of umbilical cord parameters in predicting low combined APGAR scores - A prospective Cohort study.

Objectives: Combined Apgar score includes utilization of interventions such as ontinuous positive airway pressure, xygen, ask and Bag ventilation ntubation and ventilation onatal chest compression, rugs, and newborn assessment. It has been proposed as a substitute for conventional Apgar score which is the gold standard for evaluating newborns right after birth but is impacted by medical interventions and preterm. Combined Apgar scores were examined to check for correlation with CTG tracing and umbilical cord blood parameters which gives an objective assessment of fetal hypoxia, in response to the demand for a more accurate tool for evaluating the neonate and to be used for medico-legal purposes.

Primary Vaginal Leiomyosarcoma Mimicking Bartholin's Cyst.

Leiomyosarcomas (LMS) arise from smooth muscle cells with more predilection to the uterus, abdomen, retroperitoneum, and blood vessels. LMS of vagina is very rare and usually presents in the early stage as an asymptomatic mobile mass with no clinical features of malignancy and gives the appearance of a benign lesion which can easily be mistaken for a Bartholin's cyst or a vaginal fibroid. The chances of metastasis in LMS are high with poor survival rates.

Acute Presentation of Asymptomatic Giant Endometrioma in Pregnancy: A Case Report.

Introduction: Iron deficiency anemia is a public health problem globally attributing to high incidences of maternal and infant mortality and morbidity. Iron and folic acid supplementation (IFAS) is essential and provided free of cost by the public health sectors, however, a systematic review shows that the national-level adherence to oral Iron-Folic Acid Supplementation (IFAS) is less than half in pregnant women, and the significant obstacles to non-adherence are fear of side effects and forgetfulness. This trial was designed to mitigate the side effects and tackle forgetfulness with telephonic intervention.

Umbilical Hernia as Forerunner of Primary Umbilical Endometriosis: A Case Report.
