Objectives: To describe the clinical and microbiological characteristics of patients with endogenous endophthalmitis (EE), determine factors associated with outcome and propose a management plan for EE.
Methods: Retrospective case series in two tertiary referral centers from 2010 to 2022.
Results: Sixty-four eyes of 53 patients were included.
Purpose: To report a case of Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) associated retinopathy.
Method: Single-case, retrospective review of ophthalmological and systemic manifestations.
Results: A bilateral panuveitis in a 17-year-old Caucasian woman led to the diagnosis of HL.
When estimating the causal effect of an exposure of interest on change in an outcome from baseline, the choice between a linear regression of change adjusted or unadjusted for the baseline outcome level is regularly debated. This choice mainly depends on the design of the study and the regression-to-the-mean phenomena. Moreover, it might be necessary to consider additional variables in the models (such as factors influencing both the baseline value of the outcome and change from baseline).

Methods: The National child development study (NCDS) is a prospective birth cohort study with data collected over 50 years. The NCDS included all live births during one week in 1958 (n=18558) in Great Britain.
Events causing stress responses during sensitive periods of rapid neurological development in childhood may be early determinants of all-cause premature mortality. Using a British birth cohort study of individuals born in 1958, the relationship between adverse childhood experiences (ACE) and mortality≤50 year was examined for men (n=7,816) and women (n=7,405) separately. ACE were measured using prospectively collected reports from parents and the school: no adversities (70%); one adversity (22%), two or more adversities (8%).

Our aim was to compare the usual linear regression adjusted for M to these methods when estimating the controlled direct effect between X and Y in the causal structure and to explore the size of the potential bias. Estimations were computed in several simulated data sets as well as real data.

Intrastriatal microdialysis was used to measure the precursor (tyrosine), DA and its metabolites (DOPAC, HVA) levels under nitrogen- or helium- at pressure up to 3 MPa. Under 3 MPa of helium-oxygen breathing mixtures, the extracellular concentration of tyrosine is decreased while the extracellular concentration of DA is increased.
