Effect of pH and neutrophil count on the motility and persistence of spermatozoa in the vagina of candidiasis rat models.

Sexual violence is a global issue affecting individuals regardless of their relationship to the perpetrator or the setting. Microscopic examination of spermatozoa from vaginal swabs is crucial in investigating cases of sexual intercourse to determine the time of the crime. Factors such as vaginal pH and neutrophil count influence the motility and persistence of spermatozoa in the vagina, particularly in conditions like candidiasis, highlighting the need for further research in this area.

Physical environment and blood glucose level of diabetic patients: A cross-sectional study.

Objective: To determine the correlation between physical environment and blood glucose levels in diabetic patients.

Methods: The quantitative, cross-sectional study was conducted from July to October 2022 at the Rejosari Pekanbaru Community Health Centre, Indonesia, and comprised diabetic patients of either gender with a disease history of at least 3 years. Environmental temperature was considered acceptable at 18-20°C, while environmental light was considered acceptable at 60-120 lux.

Importance-Performance Analysis of Clinical Forensic Services Quality at Bhayangkara Hospital Pekanbaru, Indonesia.

Background: Service quality improvement efforts must focus on the utilisation of resources for continuous quality improvement. The importance-performance analysis (IPA) method is useful in finding service quality items that require corrective action. This study implemented the IPA method to obtain items that should be prioritised in improving the quality of a hospital's clinical forensic services.

This study aims to investigate breastfeeding practices during the COVID-19 period and to determine the factors associated with supporting exclusive breastfeeding. A sequential explanatory mixed methods approach was adopted, including a quantitative method in the first phase and qualitative method in the second phase.

Medicolegal autopsy should be carried out for all unnatural deaths to ascertain facts pertaining to death. A retrospective 5-year study was carried out by the Forensic Medicine and Medicolegal Department, Faculty of Medicine, University of Riau to describe the profile of medicolegal autopsies in Pekanbaru, Indonesia. There were 613 unnatural deaths and 73 (11.
