Objectives: We compared the performance of AGA-2015, ESG-2018, and IAP-2024 guidelines in referring patients for surgery versus surveillance when applied to incidental after diagnosis by EUS-FNA.

Methods: Single-center, retrospective study with prospective data collection. PLs identified incidentally on CT or MRI/MRCP performed for other diseases with inconclusive imaging results were eligible for analysis.

Purpose: To identify the perceived barriers to exercise, which could be modified, as well as the associated factors in people at the sub-acute post-stroke stages, who were able to walk in the community.

Methods: For this exploratory study, barriers to exercise were identified by the Exercise Barrier sub-scale of the Exercise Benefits/Barriers Scale. Step-wise multiple linear regression analysis was employed to identify which of the clinical and sociodemographic variables, that is, age, walking speed, levels of physical activity, socioeconomic status, and depressive symptoms, could significantly predict the Exercise Barrier sub-scale scores.

Background: Electronegative low-density lipoprotein (LDL-) promotes atherosclerosis through inflammatory and immunologic mechanisms that lead to the production of anti-LDL(-) autoantibodies and to the subsequent formation of immune complexes (IC) and macrophage foam cells. We described the development and validation of an ELISA for the quantification of free anti-LDL(-) autoantibodies and an ELISA for the quantification of IC consisting of LDL(-)-bound IgG in human plasma.

Methods: LDL(-) purified from human plasma, and anti-LDL(-) monoclonal antibody Fab fragments were adsorbed onto ELISA plates to capture anti-LDL(-) autoantibodies and IC-LDL(-), respectively.
